Spring 2021 Animation Festival
The Spring 2021 Animation Festival showcases the work of students in printmaking courses, including Survey of Intaglio and Relief, Color Print Workshop, and Graduate Seminar course.
In the Relief Animation category, students explore the subject matter "Self" and investigate the relationship between space and time with two linocut prints. In the Monotype Animation, students create a rhythm with narration and sound by utilizing the painterly printmaking technique and its texture.
The Experimental category features Tyler MFA's single channel animation work. It shows the process of expanding the format and visual vocabulary of each student's major and studio practice.
Weeks of hard work and dedication have been put into these animations made by our students. They had the opportunity to unveil them to their peers, and now, on STELLA, they are available to you all. Enjoy the show!
