Izze Engblom
As an aspiring art therapist, I prioritize the well-being of myself and of others through the creative process. My goal in life is to provide a method of communication that can be insightful to others and allow them a space to feel unapologetically themselves. However, it is important for me to also maintain myself as an artist and prioritize my own creative process. I find that oil painting, clay work, and collage are some of my favorite ways to allow my mind to become totally clear, with only the focus of creativity and mindfulness.

Izze Engblom (she/they) has been an artist most of her life. Inspired by her creative parents, she resonated with the power art holds for expression, mindfulness, and communication. Upon graduating with her BA in Art Therapy from Tyler School of Art and Architecture, Izze plans on attending graduate school to pursue her love of art therapy. She aims to work with children in her future and give them the opportunity for a creative outlet and more expressive form of communication.
