In my future career, I plan to use art to facilitate communication between myself and clients. Art Therapy is helpful for people who are unable or prefer to express their emotions, thoughts, and feelings through non-verbal means. It can be active creation: painting, drawing, clay-making, etc. It can also be inactive introspection, like meditation. It can look like anything or nothing. No matter what it looks like, Art Therapy is expression through art.

I am a fifth-year senior Art Therapy major. I am from a very rural area around Altoona, PA. I transferred to Temple in 2022 from Butler County Community College. In my spare time, I like to cook and read fantasy books about dragons and magic. My favorite art medium is painting with acrylic paint on canvas.
