About the host:

Ashley D. West is Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Studies, Art History, at the Tyler School of Art and Architecture, Temple University. She is an art historian of the early modern period, 1400-1700, with a particular expertise in the history, practice and theory of printmaking and with interests in imagery produced around different kinds of cross-cultural encounters between Europe and the Ottoman Empire, the “New World,” Africa and the East Indies.
