Payton Anne McGee
Over the years, my interests and passions have evolved. The mediums I use, the locations I capture, and the images I create may change, but the core of my passion remains the same: the belief that every connection and moment—whether fleeting or enduring—shapes who we are. This collection highlights my artistic journey, featuring work that dates back to 2019. As viewers engage with my pieces, I hope they can imagine how a moment felt, what inspired me, and who I was at that time. I believe that all those past versions of ourselves remain within us, shaping our present in ways we may not always notice. This realization became especially clear when I felt drawn to revisit an old painting I thought I’d abandoned, transforming it into something new and giving it the recognition it deserved once more. Art, much like memory, is never truly finished.
