Sarai Mirekua is a multidisciplinary artist and designer whose practice explores how design can facilitate care, communication, and remembrance within digital and physical spaces. Drawing from traditions of craft, web design, and visual storytelling, her work investigates how digital tools might be reshaped to feel more human.
Grounded in culturally sensitive design principles, she seeks to challenge the corporate polish associated with graphic design by reintroducing vulnerability, texture, and empathy. Through her MFA research, Sarai experiments with blending tactile and virtual forms to create experiences that invite reflection and connection amid the pace of contemporary life.
