Abigail Choe
Art has always been a part of my life and because of this my art is about connecting with oneself. I’ve always created art with the intention on how it makes you feel rather than what’s on the surface of the piece. Throughout my journey as an artist, I have come to appreciate my experiences and the different mediums I’ve gotten the privilege to learn about and use, which helped me find both comfort and joy in the creation of the pieces I have come to cherish. I want to spend the rest of my artistic career helping other queer and POC as an art therapist, to feel and appreciate the healing properties of art, the same way I have.
