My work explores emotion, identity, and the internal experiences that are often hard to express in words. Working across many different mediums I’m drawn to capturing both personal and imagined moments that reflect feelings of anxiety, growth, and self-awareness. Some pieces focus on the figure and expression, while others come from observation or memory.
I’m especially interested in moments of transformation, feeling overwhelmed, out of place, or in between different versions of yourself. Art allows me to process these experiences in a visual way and create a sense of release. Through my work, I hope to create images that feel personal while still allowing others to find their own meaning and connection within them.

Art has always been one of the only things in my life where I’ve felt truly confident, giving me a sense of comfort and stability when everything else feels overwhelming. When I’m creating, I can let go of the thoughts and feelings that weigh on me and just exist in that moment. Over time, at Tyler I've explored different forms like drawing, painting, clay, fabric, and photography. Each one became another way for me to express what I can’t always put into words. Creating has become more than just something I do but also a part of how I cope, reflect, and understand myself. Wherever I go in the future, I hope I can give others that same feeling of comfort, escape, and emotional connection through art making.
