Evie Norris
An emotional connection is made through every piece of art I create. My pieces consist of strong conceptual backgrounds and powerful imagery that express myself as an artist. Whether it's to address current world issues or personal struggles, I strive to make a viewer feel something. In most instances, I hope it expresses validation for viewers who connect to my artwork. I create pieces that stem from emotions that cannot be described; rather, art is the visual description. I tend to utilize the mediums I have access to when I create pieces and combine their uses because I feel it expands my expression to the fullest. Mixing mediums together connects most with what I want to convey, especially when I value self-expression and unique creations. I strive to contribute to the community, create connections, and promote self-expression within art, especially as I base my art creation on my personal emotions and experiences.
