Val Ramos
From the moment we are born, we are immersed in texture experiencing the world through touch, surface, and sensation. These early encounters shape how we begin to understand and connect to our surroundings. In my work, I explore how these elements help us find ourselves in our world.
I aim to inspire a deeper appreciation for the subtle moments that shape our lived experiences. Art has given me the space to connect more deeply with subjects and my own perspective on life. My time at Tyler has helped me focus on form and emotion, revealing details I might have otherwise missed. As I continue to refine my skills, this process continues to be a path of self discovery and understanding.
